I just wanted to suggest Corazon Libre when having a nice glass of wine. My mother always pops it in when she is relaxing at home.

Is that from the Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa? I've heard her voice is incredible, but I've not heard it yet.

Ahh yesssss.....I can't believe that she married Elvis Costello...are there two more opposite styles??

There is a CD from Narada called Piano Sonotas. Narada, a calssical music cd company receives hundreds of submissions a year from amateur/professional musicians. Thes CD includes 5 pianist that they have picked an they were all sent to NY to play on the 12 foot Steinway at Carnagie hall. Music is recorded live.....wow...my absolute favorite CD and I have many hundreds.....actually...my CD collection outnumbers my wine cellar..... hmmmmm....

KC she still is a baby just like Jane Monheidt that has tons of raw talent but without the solid foundation of produtivity. WW ( Eng....When it comes to piano I put on Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, Thenonious Monk, Phinius Newborn Jr., Bill Evans, Bill Charlap, Bud Powell or the wee-one Errol Garner dependening on how serious I want to listen.) I second Oscar Peterson. I love his stuff. And on summer nights, I may pop a South American or Spanish/Portugese wine with Astor Piazolla.

I you like Mercedes Sosa, you may want to try the music of Silvio Rodriguez and Pablo Milanes. These three are the most prominent singer/songwriters of the "Nueva Trova" movement in Latin American. Nueva Trova can be translated as New Ballad or more like New Wave kind of music...
