We have mentioned it before but are now using Sant' Agostino, EVOO, Sicilia as our everyday OO. There are two reasons for this even though it is slightly more expensive. First we were just flat getting tired of the Goya that we have been using for years. It just doesn't seem to have the old pizzazz anymore. Second we can move this one more quickly, thereby leaving it on the counter and not in the fridge where it coagulates. It costs us $9 for 750 ml at Miccuci's in Portland. Since we go by there more frequently now, checking on our property, we can keep it in supply. It is a lovely oil, somewhere in the middle between buttery and the lighter tastes. We can use it for everything from cooking, to bread dipping, to salad dressing. Highly recommended.
