about that cookbook

Well, folks I know I haven't been nagging too much lately, but I'm afraid that even if I had, there'd be no way we'd come close to getting our cookbook together. We have 48 recipes submitted out of the 300 we'd planned. Granted I have about a dozen or so yet to type in, but it's just not gonna fly. So I am abandoning the idea. Keep on posting your favorites here on the board. I wish we could add a forum called "Recipes" where we could have them all in one place. Many thanks to all of you who submitted your recipes to the cookbook.

I confess to being one of those eleventh-hour type of people who procrastinate a little too much, but I only would have had about 5 original or mostly original recipes to offer. I like the idea of a recipes section of the forum, though, and that way a cookbook just might write itself into existence.

I'll cnnfess to having lost interest in the process pretty quickly. For whatever reason (my browser, my own hamfistedness, or whatever), I found it very difficult to post recipes, and that took the fun out of it. After several attempts, I gave up and found something else to do. Sorry.
