Yeah, Verne, I might just have to post a five page list of synonyms for "ass":

Bunda, back, onion (so good it makes you cry), backfield in motion, junk in the trunk (we actually had a section in our last newsletter called "The Return of the Revenge of the Son of Mr. Bigstuff: Junk in the Trunk"!), my personal favorite: preferencia nacional (national preference, it's a Brasilian thing) ect, ad infinitum

PS: would Sir Mix-a-Lot have stood a chance on American Idol? I think his magnum opus "Baby's got Back" is right up there with "Johnny B. Goode", "Six Days on the Road and "Kansas City" when it comes to true Americana...

Roberto

Hehe, when RAD mentioned the idea that funk might catch on and be promoted by Madison Ave. as the next big thing in wine, I couldn't help but imagine the Kendall Jackson's of the world adding "essence of ass" to their wines from giant test tubes. Or perhaps ass-chips, dipped in the vats in the same way as oak teabags?

And I can imagine the bottle notes: "A warm, full-bodied, fleshy wine, with firm yet supple tannins..."

I can see it now: a combination Homeless Bath Center / "ass" infusion facility. I bet Franzia is first on the block!

Would that wine be a Gigondass or Assti Spumanti?

Hey, potty humor is some deeeeep do do, just read Freud or any of those guys. But seriously folks, we are talking about wines as profound and multifaceted as J-Lo's behind, surely there are volumes yet to be written...

Was busy all afternoon getting ready for a party here at the Bassatchelor jernt. Looking at the remnants now I'm sure we had a good time. 9 dead soldiers on my desk. Will sort thru them and make an attempt to post tomorrow. Need a Tequila Sunrise. Very low on vitamin C. WW ( 5 of us plus CB and her bottle of SW made 10)
