Another category of bargain wines is getting press coverage, which is sure to be grounds for gouging: today's Wall Street Journal has a nice article on the wines of the Languedoc in the new "Personal Journal" section. Maybe everyone will be so engrossed in the columns on the Enron and Andersen meltdowns that they won't notice...

Let's all join hands, raise our voices and say...Languedoc is plonk. Don't let the secret out.

Aw, come on, Drew. There must be something drinkable coming out of the Languedoc.

You missed it KC...I'm hoping to convince the many that the wines of the Languedoc are bad so there will be more for me, well us, I'll share. I love these wines just look up my many posts.

Oops! Then I guess I won't mention all the wines from the Languedoc we've really enjoyed. So, for public consumption, Languedoc makes some of the worst wines ever foisted on the wine buying public. How's that?

That's right. In fact, all those Languedoc products that are on our shelves are there only for the un-discerning!@!\=*&.

I'll have to tell my boss at the shop that all those Languedoc wines on the shelves should be dumped immediately.

You bet! Ship those dirty ol' buggers straight down the Chisholm Trail to the Balcones Escarpment. We'll lock 'em away so that can't present a danger to society again! Heheh.
