I see where Nancy Pelosi was nominated for Speaker of the House -- a victory for her, then had her nomination for majority leader (John Murtha) firmly trounced.

I am happy to see the Democrats moving a little more towards the center. Murtha was not the right pick IMHO, and I'm glad to see him lose. There is hope for moderation yet!
