I hope you all have a wonderful day surrounded by good friends, family, good food, and of course good wine. Take a moment to count your blessings!

After many years of seating as many as 34 for Thanksgiving dinner, we've finally returned to a more manageable number. It'll just be our NH daughter and spouse, our Boston son, Judy and me. No CG yet, but maybe some year we'll all make it. I'm really looking forward to this one, because the little episode last month brought home the fact that we are only here for a finite period and spending quality time with those we love while we can is very precious. I truly hope everyone out there on the Wine Board, from the newest newbie to the crustiest oldtimer, has a very wonderful day -- and life. Now let's open some wine!!

Same to all you folks. And it can indeed all end quickly, whether to a thump in the chest, a sniper's bullet, irate spouse, or whatever. Gotta be grateful for every day.

May your toughest decision be which wines to serve with dinner.

Same to all of youse. Do take time to be grateful for all you've been blessed with, good or bad.

We're doing it here at our daughter's, along with two others and two friends, making it a total of eleven. Have two bottle of Nouveau to wash it down.

Sounds about like my plans for turkey, family and a few bottles of nouveau to bring out the best in us all. Have a good holiday everyone.
