Sisterdear, her hubby and I leave Thursday morning for a couple of days at Gene's. Anybody jealous? (Of course it won't be the same without y'all.)

Maybe you can get over to Keuka Lake and say hello, and see the kitchen progressing...

Thanks! We may just drop by as we're touring around. I'll bet the view from the deck is even more outstanding. Are the leaves pretty yet? It seems so early to me. Are they harvesting grapes up there now?

Leaves haven't started to turn yet, and harvest has begun for some varieties.

Georgie, while you are at Glenora ask about their new three-day wine class getaway that starts in November. Guess who is scheduled to teach it!

I thought it was supposed to be Blanc de Noir for breakfast. At any rate, Georgie and Sister, have a great time; and lift one for us.

Georgie

Please give me a call when you arrive--we need to share a glass or two, and perhaps put together some suggestions for the 2005 retreat which is now less than 11 months away.

Looking forward to seeing you and your gang! We can even lift a glass of bubbly in honor of WW!!
