What about the pitcher of Buck-Snort in shorts. Every Flamingo in Florida wrote love notes. WW

We saw Spamalot of Broadway when David Hyde Pierce and Tim Curry were in the cast. I laughed with tears rolling down my face for two solid hours. We all did. Glad you enjoyed it as much as we! What a hoot!

I'm going to see it in Minneapolis this summer. I can't wait. I did discover that most of the play is viewable on youtube.com thanks to people sneaking in cameras. You have to search for things like spamalot 01 (02, 03, ....).

I haven't seen "Spamalot" but traveled to Charlotte with two coworkers last Saturday to see a matinee of "Mamma Mia." (enjoyable)
I went to Raleigh for Broadway South shows of "The Light in the Piazza" and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" in the last couple months.
If I visit New York City after the Finger Lakes offline, I will try to get a ticket to "Wicked" or "The Chorus Line."

What did you think of Light in the Piazza? We saw it in NY and I hated it. The acting was fine, but the music was totally forgettable. Not to mention a lot of it was in Italian, which left us non-Italians wishing for subtitles. Blech...for $100 a ticket, I was sorely disappointed.

I liked it, but I didn't pay $100 a ticket in Raleigh. You're correct that the songs weren't really hummable--closer to opera arias in some ways. The two couples sitting next to me left at the intermission so I guess their opinion matched yours.
