Well just wanted to share a piece of news with everyone...I am moving to Chicago in the Fall. My fiancee and I were admited to the University of Chicago's MBA program!

So, I am going to need reccomendations of wine stores in the area...

Congratulations Blue. Know that you like things French, but if you ever get into an Italian mood, go to Convito Italiano in Wilmette (1515 N. Sheridan Rd. [at Lake St.] Wilmette; Tel: (847) 251-3654). The contina has food to die for. Great selection of OO, and, of course, Italian Wine. Always go out of my way when in town to stop by.

An online site that seems to have a wide variety of wines is Binny's Beverage Depot at 3000 N. Clark Street. They carry some German wines that are difficult to find.
My oldest nephew got his MBA at U of Chicago about three years ago and was on a recruiting trip to U of Chicago Business School this February for the company where he is employed ( a medical instruments company).
