Finally replaced the old 1998 Dodge Dakota with this....A manly truck!

BTW, it's a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and it's in flawless shape.

Nice looking truck, Drew. I've been driving Ford F-150s for 20 years, but had Dodge trucks before that (the '66, '78 and '82). It should give you good service. Congrats.

Where did all the snow go? We still have the five inches we picked up before Christmas!

We've been enjoying mid to upper 40's temps for the last week and yesterday and today in the mid to high 50's......bye, bye snow.

Gil, I looked at F-150's but did not want to buy new and couldn't find a clean used one. This one jumped out and bit me. Very good price and brand new condition with very low mileage. I also got the dealer to add a spray on liner at no cost with a bunch of other goodies, free service and perks, for life. The auto industry is struggling right now but they're not given them away like they would have you believe. They wanted me to finance and offered 4.9% on this used vehicle, a very good rate, but I have a HELOC loan available locked in at 6% which is currently at 3.25% which is deductable...they couldn't compete. It was one of the better car buying experiences though, no games and negotiations were good.

Attaway!

When I bought this '02 model, I used Mr. Ford's money.... zero interest for 60 months. Don't think I even put anything down; had given the old '90 model to the ranch forman, so didn't have a trade-in. Still, it was sweet, using Mr. Ford's dinero.

Now if this sucker would just wear out, I could go get another one!

Why do you think he's burning gas, Verne? Just so he doesn't have to listen to your reports!

With me up here in Missouri, Anne had to kill some time a couple Saturdays ago, as some folks were looking at the house, requiring her to make herself scarce for a few hours. So, she killed time by buying a new truck. As our farm is 1 1/2 miles off the blacktop down a gravel, often ill-maintained country road, she needed something 4-wheel drive, and she wanted a diesel. So, she's now the proud owner of a new diesel VW Toureg. That's what I get for leaving her unattended on a Saturday

Nice looking truck, Drew. That would have been high on our list, if not at the very top, had she not had her heart set on a diesel.

Anne made a good choice. VW diesels get rave reviews for their mileage, "clean burn" and raw power.
