It occurred to me this morning that, after having spent quite a lot of time posting on a few wine forum sites, coming back more often to this site is a joy.

This is a true group of decent, honest conversationalist wine-o people, without the ego-blaring diatribes that most forum sites devolve into over time--or start out that way.

A few weeks back I swore off posting on forum sites, especially after one truly disgusting experience with a moderator. But I guess should not have included this one.

Of course, I thought of all this right after WW decided to come back--could there be a connection

Glad you're both still with us. I learn from the folks here every day.

OK, 'nuff sloppiness. Can't stand it.

Oh, gee, now I'm going to cry.

Actually, been at this computer all day for many days putting together a book proposal--that's really why I feel like crying...

Looks like a lot more of the old gang are coming back - Georgie and LB just started posting again. Would be nice to get back some of the ITB folks, too.

Fools do rush in here, old and otherwise.

Hey KC and IK, looks like we are going to get a dry weekend in the Northeast. Got to mow all morning, after I break down the tall grass with the machete...
