Well Judy and I are just about recovered from the Thanksgiving period. Relatives showed up last Wed. evening to stay through Sunday. That was about 45 minutes after Judy fell off the bottom step of the stairs and twisted her ankle, so she wasn't much help after that for a few days. I had to cook them dinner Wed. Then I also ended up doing the cooking for the rest of the weekend, including breakfasts the next four days for many people. Did the MAP so they were on their own for one meal a day. I ended up cooking dinner for 54 people divided up into 24 on Thurs., 16 on Friday and 14 on Sat. I ended up making 10 loaves of bread, too. To top it off, we went to my sister's house for a late Thanksgiving on Sunday. We blew through six cases of wine over four days. I'm sure glad that's over for another year!

Ours was much tamer, but the next few weeks will be just as busy. Bev wants to show people how she's doing, so has planned four (4!) parties before Christmas, when the WHOLE family is showing up. Therefore, we have three boxes from three different sources in the pipeline to keep us steady.
