97 KJ Buckeye Cab FIRESALE

I've heard Kendall Jackson was stopping production of this wine and there were previous postings regarding the sale prices on this wine. Originally listed with a $45 retail value and a WS score of 89 (I believe), I am now seeing many local places and online sites completely fireselling this product.

Winex.com is selling it for $11.99 a bottle. Has anyone here had it and do you think it is any good? This price now has my attention.

I'd have to dig out my notes, but off the top of my head it is worth the $11.99, but probably not the original $45. The tannins are still a little harsh, and it takes about two hours of air to get the fruit to open up. Let it breathe, and it is a decent bottle of cab.

I got my friendly pusher to buy some and here in Az we be gittin' that sucker for 13.99 Can't believe enny 97 cab by KJ wouldn't be woth 14 beanies. Have a 3 box order I'll oick-up today.
