Another '04 tonight with our own Lasagne. Absolutely lovely. It is "up" to $8.99. Not much better under ten.

We popped our first '05 Masciarelli last Wednesday night with spaghetti in our Italian tomato sauce, broiled Italian sausages, and salad. The price is up to $9.99 at Micucci's now, but have seen it for less on wine-searcher.

Still under $10 this is still our desert island wine as it matches so well with so many things.

Hmmm. Old thread on one of our favorite staples. probly $8 by the box now. Another worth uncorking is Cantina Zacagnini MdA. 1 or 2 bucks more but worth 1 or 2 more.

Popped yet another last night with Sweet Italian sausages, and our tomato sauce with Gemelli. Also a salad mostly from our garden! Wine is as consistant as ever. Price has crept up to $9.99.

Our first '09 I think, last night with the last fresh tomato sauce of the season.

We popped another '09 tonight with a sauce made of butter, flour, a pinch of salt, freshly ground white pepper, veggie stock and goat milk, flaked smoked wild salmon, and minced fresh basil and sage; serve over linguine. We also had fresh tomatoes, cucumber, and avocado in vinaigrette.
