I have a sister who is going to be 21 in a week. I need to understand what is the best box of white or red wine that I can buy for a total of £120 which will mature within 4-5 years? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Her normal preference is French wines but I understand that there could be better bottles from different countries so am open to suggestions. Thanks

Hi David, and welcome to the Wine Board. A current release from the South of France such as Cahors would do the trick. Hopefully she has the proper facilities to store the wine for four or five years. The kitchen cupboard will not do the trick.
