2002 and 2003 Las Rocas Garnacha
Both vintages display spicy, fruit forward, Grenache characteristics with some earth and leather hints that add complexity. The '03, imho, is a little richer. Plenty of tannins to carry both for a while. 13.5%Alc/vol $8

2003 Panarroz (Jumilla)
This is a terrific wine comprised with equal parts of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache. Very full and round in the mouth with lush black and brite red fruit with some hints of leather and chocolate. A RP 90 pointer for $7. 14%Alc/vol.

Love the Las Rocas. Still savoring my dwindling remaining bottles of the '01 old vines bottling. Yummy stuff and great QPR.

Will look for the other rec. Seems another great QPR Spaniard.
