Don't know if anyone's tried this, but I got wind of their current special. For every case that you purchase, the second one is 1 cent. I would recommend the Fox Creek Zinfandel, Barbera, and Late Harvest Zin. Their "port" is quite tastey, also.

Not quite that good. I'm a big fan of Toscano, especially the Zins. I'll be tasting there during the last weekend of September in fact. But I think the deal is for any one case of reds you buy, you get a case of 2001 Zin for $1.

I personally e-mailed the winery to get confirmation. I had heard about it from a friend, and didn't believe it. I asked the winery if it was true that if you buy a case, the second one is sold at $.01. Got an e-mail back promptly stating that it was.

Mark Merritt from Villa Toscano confirmed it and stated that it was running for another week or so.
