Don't know how I missed early postings on this value bottling that is a collaboration between the folks at Henry's Drive, importer Dan Philips and wine maker Chris Ringland. Picked up a bottle this weekend and popped last night. no detailed notes, but...

this Aussie blend of cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and merlot is a mouthful. earthy blackberry, blueberry, plums, plus raspberry and spice. chocolates notes that would come and go. lots of fruit, some acidity and some fine tannins that actually only become apparent over time. this is a fruit bomb, with a little structure behind it. 88 points and a fine value at the $8.99 i paid.

During a current sale, Carolina Wine Company has this for $7.99 per bottle by the case.
