2000 Vina Borjia

This is a wonderful, fruit forward Grenache from Spain that couldn't be any more of a bargain unless they gave it away. At a local shop they have it advertised for $5.49, and this month they're giving a 20% discount for case purchases. A friend and I went there Saturday and he picked up a case for $52.70. We opened up one to try with a dinner I made of Shrimp with Spicy Black Bean Sauce, Cauliflower with Sweet and Sour Chili Sauce and rice. Amazingly, it went perfectly. It had enough spice to go very well with the meal. Looks like I have to go over and pick up some of my own.
