Greetings from Oregon -
Two very nice wines to sample:
Maryhill 2003 Viognier (from Wa - I got it for $10.80)
Covey Run 2002 Syrah (Got Grand show winner at the Seattle (Oenologic Society?)PacNorWest tasting this past August - around $10.00, for now, until word gets out...)

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the suggestions. We will be having an offline gathering in Washington State next year at which time we'll be trying many wines from that state.

Your welcome wondersofwine -
Another Wa favorite of mine is Woodward Canyon, their Merlots in particular. Opened a magnum of the 1994 2 months ago for a formal dinner - 'perfectly' aged, drank very well, almost ignored the meat course it was poured for!
