'04 Castle Rock Carneros Pinot Noir

2004 Castle Rock, Carneros, Pinot Noir ($9.99 NH Liq Store). This is our first Castle Rock wine of any sort. Alcohol level was 14.5%. Biggest Pinot under $10 ever! Huge rush of blackish red fruit on nose and tongue tip. Chewy complexity and more gushy fruit in the middle, and a nice finish. Too much for grillpanned boneless pork chops, but quite enjoyable.
