A bit heavier than other Moscato's but nonetheless rather lively and delicious. Nose and taste of grapefruit, pear and a bit of dried fruit, not sticky, with a nice acidity to it that cleans the palate off. Not as nice as the La Spinetta's, especially in the nose (that nose was worth the admission itself), but for 1/2 the price. $9.00 per bottle .......my first case buy recommendation!

The Tintero Elvio has a higher ABV than others. Most I've seen are at about 5% to 7%. The TE comes in at 12.5% which gives it a bit more body. I've tried this at the shop a few times, but have never brought it home for no reason I can think of. I'll have to get a few.

ahhhh.. thanks KC, that would explain the fuller body and perhaps the sweeter sense.
