What red would you suggest for grilled pork tenderloin (lightly salted and peppered), roasted garlic potatoes, and steemed broccoli? I would be making a simple sauce with the wine too.

Pinot Noir. The Maison Nicolas Vin de Pays d'Oc is widely available in the Austin/San Antonio area at Sam's and Sun Harvest; HEB Marketplace might also have it. Typical price is only $7.99. But I enjoyed a Mosel Riesling Kabinett with that same meal only last week.

Hotwine nailed it, I'd probably pour a Pinot Noir or a German/Alsatian Riesling.

Another red choice, perhaps one of the inexpensive malbec/syrah blends coming out of Argentina, if you're watching the budget.
