Neat funky nose. Color deep ruby slightly hazy. Earthy, horse saddle, deep black fruits, and spices.Solid entry, medium center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. Was the perfect foil for the penny rigate, marinara and ground turkey made into " Fowl Balls '. Lil' bit of weener humor. Not the greatest CDP but satisfying as the devil. At the TOIG so iffn' youse gotem', drinkem'. 88/90. 24 13% alc. WW

Gigondas is a small pocket north or CDR and well east of CDP.
