Awfully young. Spotted at Costco and had to sample. With omelet tonight, using lean sausage from the Dutchman Market in Fredericksburg. Bright crimson like a Beaujolais..... nose like one, too. Nice fruit with a spicey undertone, very clear and focused, moderate finish. 13% alc/vol and $10.99. Grab a bunch and sit on 'em for a while.

Had another of these last night with oak-grilled cedar plank salmon, oven fries and green salad. Poured it and let it breathe while doing the grilling duties, and it was ready-teddy for dinner. Bingo! The fruit flavors were just right with the salmon, staying in background but melding nicely with the fish. Much prefer it to a Pinot Noir pairing. Will need to snag a bunch.
