1999 Echelon, Viognier, California, $12, 5,146 cases. Made in a light, easy style, that is crisp on the palate and quite floral. Peaches are the main player here, with a hint of orange zest, and no oak burden to bear. Good value.

Have you had Echelon's 1998 Pinot Noir yet? Their 1997 was a solid wine and a good buy (@13.99).
