1999 Domaine Alary
Daniel and Denis
La Brunote
Cairanne-Cote du Rhone Village

Not sure what the Daniel and Denis and the La Brunote mean.

This is another Peter Weygandt Selection. If your local store carries products from this importer, check them out. He selects some fabulous stuff.

A gentle plum colour. Jammy raspberries and cherries with pepper on the nose. The jammy fruit seemlessly blends into a crisp white peppery finish that is quite long. A nice full bodied drink.

This is one heck of a single village CDRV. Seemless, smooth, subtle, quite possibly the best Rhone I've had to date. I wish I had time to get back into town to buy a few more bottles. I will have to look for it when I get to Portland. Its priced at $15 here in Boise.
