Los Carneros.
Opaque dark black/purple. Deep flavors of blackberry and cassis with hints of tar, damp earth, black olive and vanilla. Drank over several hours and as the wine opened the finish lengthened revealing fine grained tannins. Quite a nice California Syrah that shows some Rhone genes.
14.5% Alc/vol. $31
