Nice....Really nice.

Wine did not look aged at all, still a very nice garnet color with no again rim. Wonderful nose of some reserved gameyness, dark fruits, wood, etc, etc, etc,..there was so much there. It was the same on the palate. This wine was showing very very well. Lots of complexity and hard, very hard to describe. I guess I'm gonna have to try it a few more times. Just lovely.

not much has changed in this bottle. In fact, this bottle seems just a bit tighter than the other one that I opened. There is some initial bricking now but only ever so slightly. Still very nice......

KC, I thought that you'd be in the shop so I opened one there. Steven and Dave had a chance to try it.

I've now only got 4 left.......

Still going on strong, perhaps as this was the only one that got to the 6 hour mark, teh finish started to dry off. Maybe this bottle won't go another 10 years, maybe I need to start drinking up. then again I only got 4 left.....

I had opened one a few months early and that bottle appeared to be much more advanced than I had last remembered it so I pretty much put the rest of my remaining bottles on the to drink rack. This was my second last bottle and it was in much better shape then the previous one. It returned to some of the things I really liked about this bottle, the balance, the nose, the complexity on the palate as it opens up, showing different things through the night. Having said that, I still think it is at its peak. There was a bit more austerity in the wine than I remember a few years ago so the last one won't wait long.

I hope the last bottle will be similar to this.
