Picked this up at Costco back in May, added to the cellar, and forgot about it. Pulled tonight to have with smoked chuck roast and oven-roasted veggies (baby spuds, baby carrots, white onions, yellow squash, zucchini, red bell peppers) in olive oil and Italian seasoning. Nice. Crushed berries and damp earth on the nose, more on the palate with white pepper and a touch of green mint. A bit hot at 13.9% but not unpleasantly so. Costco price was $14.99.

Popped another last night to accompany beef stew. Mint and most of the crushed berries were gone, leaving damp earth and white pepper in alcohol; not a pleasing combination. Glad I have no more.
