true Chateauneuf-du-Pape?

I recently bought a relativelly "cheap" Chateauneuf-du-Pape (in Belgium,
food-chain ALDI). A friend of me say's it can't be a "real" AOC
Chateauneuf-du-Pape (because of it's label; the botle IS engraved though).

The label reads:

Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Appelation Chateauneuf-du-Pape-Controlée
14%
Mis en bouteille pour
Felix Ravinet par REC à 84150 FRANCE
Produit de France

(in very small print on the side: IMPS71680 VS 073)

Can anyone comment on this ? Do "false" french AOC wines exist ? Are there
any rules for "private labels" and AOC regulations ? Is there a list of "true" "producents" and "recoltants"

If Saint Peter's keys are crossed beneath the papal tiara, then the wine is from a Chateauneuf-du-Pape grower. If Saint Peter's keys are crossed above the papal tiara then the wine is from a merchant.

It seems to me, from the label information you provided, that the wine in your bottle is from a merchant or a negociant; however, I could not find any information on Felix Ravinet to confirm his status as a grower or as a merchant.
