Inky, purple color
Big earthy nose
Dried cherry notes with leather and a smidge of tobacco on the finish accompanied by a bit of pepper/spice. Only flaw is that it is a bit hot on the palate.

Yup, that's an '03. Boiled on the vine.

It, overall, wasn't too bad and the price point made it a nice wine. I enjoyed it, just had the one flaw.
