Château Val Joanis Côtes du Lubéron Rosé 2006

My first rosé of the year, always a little event at my house. A little late this year (it has been in the 80s fairly consistently for the past few weeks here).

Disappointing though. I have not had previous years of this, but I thought this was off-balance. Something just did not click. It has flavor and nose, mostly strawberry; but I thought it was a little heavy and one-dimensional. Won't buy again. $14 at Kroger. I will have to try other producers over the next few weeks.
