This is a white Côtes du Rhône, 100% Viognier even if from the south. Typical viognier, good citrus and long finish, very nice all around. It feels like it fills your whole mouth - if that makes any sense. Although it is fruitier/less subtle than a Condrieu, for somebody who loves Condrieu but can't/won't spend $600 on a case of it (that would be me), this wine is fantastic at $10 a bottle.

Thanks for the tip. I like Condrieu so would probably like this.

GDB also puts out another nice Viognier from the region at about the same price. It is bottled varietally.
