2005 Captain's Reserve Syrah (Niebaum/Copola)

Picked this up in my previous trip to Napa and it showed really well back then.

Last night, showed rather tight. We had it in the glass for about 20 minutes and then it started to come back, good friut density and a nice texture, but nothing really to write home about at that point in time....at least it wasn't corked..... (which incidentally, I had purchased a Captain's Reserve Cab at the same time as this syrah and that was corked.....)
