2003 Copain Syrah Cailloux & Coccinelle (Walla Walla): I was impressed but I was much more impressed by the end of the night. When everyone left, I tried what remained of this in the bottle and it was wonderful. Deep color, ripe nose, sexy, dark cherries, blackberries, hints of tar and meat. Full body for sure, smooth texture, and this thing gained complexity with the hours that it was opened. Always something new to look forward to with each timed sip. Wonderful.
