2005 Moillard "Les Violettes" CDR

Plummy, purple color

Nice fruit and spice nose. Follows through on the palate with a very lingering finish. Wonderful little wine for about $10 retail.

Went very well with braised pork and fenel coleslaw as well as chicken mango sausage with sauted greens the next night.

We just picked up the Moillard house and they have a very nice book of tasty and inexpensive stuff. I'll add reviews as I taste the ones I like.
