I just love the name!!!

Quite the wine too for the price of around $18. Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Tannat blend from the Basque Region.

DEEP DARK SCARY Ruby colour on the rim and almost black in the center. Nose is a brooding powerful dark fruit and a perfumed light wood. With some are, the wine is dense with simple dark fruits and a perfumed wood, some spiciness and black pepper, a bit rustic in feel, good acidity and a nice grippy feel from the tannins at the end. Finishes a bit hot and not quite as long as I thought it would, medium plus. Simple, neat, clean, powerful wine with grip, almost bordeaux light in weight, but less complex.
