This wine had a very strange nose when it was first opened. But it blew off quickly. Very dark in color. Big black fruit hits you from the start but with time, this settled down, had a nice chocolate, hint of spice at end. Good full bodied wine with nice long finish. What initially took me as a big shiraz ended up being a big but reasonably balanced wine. Nice pick at $17.99.
