1999 Pedroncelli, Petite Sirah, Dry Creek Valley, California, $14.50, 963 cases. A fine example of the grape. The tannins are evident but not hard on the palate. Earthy aromas and flavors, black fruit, plums, a touch of pepper and balanced oak wrap up this pretty package. 90/92.
