2001 Alsace Trimbach

This is a dry Gewurtztraminer. It is the first dry one I have had. At first I was put off, as I am used to a very sweet taste from this varietal, but after the first glass it was all smooth sailing.

Very fragrant, very light, great with deep fried chicken livers and rice!
