This is a dry Gewurtztraminer. It is the first dry one I have had. At first I was put off, as I am used to a very sweet taste from this varietal, but after the first glass it was all smooth sailing.

Very fragrant, very light, great with deep fried chicken livers and rice!

Welcome to the seduction of Gewurztraminer. I'm quite the fan of Alsatian versions.
