Some basic meals

These are pretty plain, so any suggestions for good wine matches?

a)chicken mozzerella
b)plain ol' pork chops

Perhaps a pinot grigio, soave or riesling kabinett or spatlese with the chicken. Riesling or pinot noir with the pork chops. (A rose wine might also complement the pork chops).
