first dish is shrimps with diced tomatoes and green chiles, the second is mexican style stewed tomatoes and potatoes, topped with jack cheese.
do people think they would benefit from different pairings or the same?

I think a good Riesling just as one from Alsace or Australia would do the trick for both.
