1988 Marc Kreydenweiss, Tokay Pinot Gris, Moenchberg, Grand Cru - Light gold in the glass. Amazing nose of dried apricot, quince, lots of minerals (almost Loire like), with floral, orange tea, and honey aromas. Apricot and quince fruit in the mouth, with lots of mineral/gravel flavors, flowers, orange tea, and honey. A beautifully mature white, still fresh and clean but extremely complex. This wine is in the dry
style and matched amazingly well with fresh crab and havarti cheese. Pinot Gris doesn't get much better than this! A bargain at $25. Approx..93-95.
