I popped a 375 ml last night. It's very delicious, as sweet as an isewine, but the flavor is not quite as intense. The price was $35, so I suppose that's about right. 2003 Maddonna, Worms on Rhine. 9% alc.

I might just sip this while watching the game today.

If from Worms, it's a Rheinhessen isn't it?
I think I generally prefer Eiswein to Beerenauslesen because of the balance of acidity to sweetness. However, I would welcome the chance to taste more Beerenauslesen or Trockenbeerenauslesen wines.

Yes, it's a Rhine wine. I like it, but as I already said, it's not quite as good as eiswine. Not as acidic, for one... a bit flatter and fatter.

I generally don't venture over Auslese. I still don't care for the "noble rot" flavor of the beers and trockenbeers.
