I have an old, or what looks like an old wine bottle, with a German label on it.
The wine comes from the Baden region of Germany. Label says:
Adolf Geppert K G Buhl-Baden
Anno 1884 (?)
Weingut Weinkellerei
Baden
Uffentaler Spatburgunder
Beerwein

Between the first line and second is a crest or rather two crests side by side.

There is a red foil like paper around the top.

Oh, the most distinctive mark is a big gold monkey on the front, wrapping itself around the green bottle.

It is very interesting, and I am wondering what if any history there is to this wine and if it is still in production.

Thanks in advance for any help in identifying this wine.
