The 2004 of this little mosel was one of my fav's last year, and made WS top 100 for what that's worth... This year's is still $10.99.

Some sweetness, and a good amount of stonefruit and lychee or something tropical, but the main focus of the wine was a ton of slatey character and a big-time acid laser right through the middle.
a pretty full body and some spritzig going on, too.
very good for the money, and maybe it'll settle down a bit with some time in the bottle...

compared to the 04, it's not quite as impeccably balanced, but more heavy-hitting...

i'm looking forward to when their kabinett and spatlese get released to our distributor...
