1994 Hugel Pinot Blanc, Cuvee Les Amours; Alsace - $10.59

Brassy color with some lemon-yellow tones. Nose rather simple yet full and wonderful featuring minerals, apple, pear and a touch of honey. On the palate, nice fruit framed by the stone and mineral qualities. Refreshing acidity and a perfect match with a cheddar cheese and cracker appetizer. Not a tremendously complex wine, but delicious none the less.
