With only 18,000 bottles produced for this vintage sparkler, I kinda think I was lucky getting a bottle.

I caught the rich and creamy texture, along with the toast and the pear and the wonderfully long finish. This sparkler produced some very fine, long lasting bubbles that sang when they broke the surface of the wine. From start to finish, there was a long trail of very fine bubbles running upwards from the bottem of my flute to the top.

Don't remember whether I bought this beauty last year or the year before. But I am glad that I drank it. The wife enjoyed it also!

Here is what WS had to say:

Rich and creamy, with seductive aromatics, leading to a complex, supple and polished sparkler, with a layer of anise, fig, toast, pear and honey, turning long and detailed on the finish.Drink now through 2007. (1500 cases produced)
